Randy Moss vs. Cris Carter Round 1

For the record, I’m not much of a Randy Moss fan, but I will acknowledge the man’s talent. Secondly, most everyone knows Moss’ work ethic and attitude. When you get Randy Moss on your team, you also get the baggage that comes along with him being there. Moss is known for taking time off during games and not make much of an effort if he’s not in the best of moods.

Here comes along former teammate, Cris Carter who basically states the obvious, “the one thing you have to address with Randy Moss is not a conditioning thing. It’s not an age thing. It needs to be addressed. I believe it’s the elephant in the room. It’s that thing called quit.” Now Carter was simply stating his opinion and was saying what most people won’t say out loud including making some real good points.

But of course Moss took it as a personal dig on him as a whole, which was clearly not the case since Carter acknowledged how much Moss is a beast on the field. On his Twitter account Moss fires back with, “its sad how u stroked ur own ego when u were suppose to b my mentor!then u wonder why karma bites u in the ass! #goodlukwhof.” Seriously Randy?!? The man was saying what everyone else thinks and then acknowledged how good of a player Moss is. Moss needs to really listen to what people are saying and if he doesn’t like it, ignore it and just show on the field what you can do. That’s it! There’s no need to take a personal shot at Carter with “#goodlukwhof” translated to good luck with hall of fame, which Carter has been a finalist for for the past two years and has not made it in. All Carter was talking about was the work ethic and how Moss often quits on a team when he doesn’t get his way. EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS!! But later Moss tweeted, “Cc no matter i still luv u bruh.” So it looks like this whole thing went overboard and back to calm in a matter of minutes, Moss will be Moss.
